Defence Minister Leber stands in front of Koko, the West African grey parrot, who is sitting on the radiator ledge in front of him. He teases the parrot with a stick, „Well you? ... You?“ and „You?“ again and again.“

Eventually Koko gets too colourful and replies „You idiot, you ... idiot“

Leber freezes, and then bursts out laughing.

Minister Leber told this story for a long time with his own sense of humour, even in his ministry. He said that the only person who really recognised me was the parrot from Stoll.
