Berchtesgaden National Park
Listen to the voices of the birds, track down gentians and edelweiss or marvel at marmots and golden eagles: the national park administration offers hikes on various topics all year round. The program includes excursions, group trips and experiences for the whole family.
Königssee and St. Bartholomä
Framed by mighty rock faces, it rests in one of the most impressive landscapes in Germany - emerald green and quiet - in the middle of the Berchtesgaden National Park. The lake, embedded like a fjord, is eight kilometers long, up to 1,2 kilometers wide and lies 602 meters above sea level. With a maximum water depth of 192 meters, the water of the Königsee remains relatively cold even in midsummer.
The Berchtesgaden Salt Mine
On an excursion through the history of the earth you will receive exciting information that you will not only experience in the course of the salt journey through time, but will also experience it with all your senses through effective productions in the realm of fantasy.
Kehlsteinhaus - Eagle's Nest
A historical vantage point high above the Berchtesgadener Land: from the Kehlsteinhaus, visitors can enjoy an overwhelming panoramic view of up to 200 kilometers. It has been managed by the Berchtesgaden-Königssee tourist region since 1960 and run as a mountain restaurant by private tenants.
Salzburg - Salzburger Land
From Stoll's Hotel Alpina, you can drive to Salzburg, the world-famous festival city, in around 25 minutes. Here you have the opportunity to get to know the small but fine Mozart city of Salzburg with its many elegant shops, squares, churches and castles. Here you will also find a number of museums worth seeing, for example the newly built Museum of Modernism on the Mönchsberg or the House of Nature, which also appeals to little guests.
Not much further away you will find some beautifully situated, romantic lakes on the Austrian side, such as Mondsee, Wallersee or Fuschlsee. All these places can be easily reached within a day, for example with our friend, the bus operator Schwaiger, who not only makes day trips there, so that you can relax and leave your car in the garage.
