The Ski resorts in Berchtesgaden, how Jenner with his Jennerbahn (New in 2018), Götschen, Horse field, Obersalzberg Estate or Hochschwarzeck are also suitable for a skiing holiday with Children ideally suited.
Very atmospheric are the Advent days as well as Christmas and New Year's Eve in Berchtesgaden with its regional traditions such as the Christmas market, Christmas shooting, Kramperllauf or midnight Christmas mass in the collegiate church on Schlossplatz.
The historic old town of Berchtesgaden with its pedestrian zone, the Royal Palace or the Haus der Berg is a great place for a winter stroll, while the world-famous Mozart city of Salzburg, with its numerous sights, prominent shops, historic buildings and palaces, is just a 30-minute drive away (approx. 22 km).
